Working of Amrita Security-Lock System using Smart Cards
Our system validates a user by using Smart Cards; it controls and restricts entry points/doors that a user can have access to. Our control System has a simple navigation with easy-to-use features that is highly flexible allowing an authenticated user to access any door connected to the system by stationing at any control point. A typical installation includes all the connections necessary for a high degree of security at the point of entry. Every time a door is accessed, the system gathers user information from the Smart Card which he/she inserts (into the reading device) and stores that data (including the time of entry and exit) in a central server placed in the control room. This will help to enhance the overall security of the system. The Smart Card is smart enough to store good amount of data and communicate with the System or Card Readers. The sensor fitted in the system detects any unauthorized entry or movements within the system and passes it to the control room. The control panel immediately recognizes the security breach and sends a warning signal by turning the emergency light or burglar alarm on.
